Job description
- Coverage Needed:
- ASAP - ongoing
- Clinic: 7am - 7pm
- Night call: 7pm - 7am
- Nov 28-30 (7am - 7pm with night call)
- Dec 22-27 or 28 (7am - 7pm with night call)
- Clinical Information:
- Patient Volume: 24
- Support Staff: 2 physicians, 1 APP on dayshift/ 1 Physician Nights & 1 APP nights
- Days with Night Call
- Open ICU
- 29 ICU beds
- Critical care MDs are first call when on call at night
- If the APP needs back up they will call the physician who will then determine if they need to come back in or not
- Providers working ICU at night: APP in house, physician on call w/standard nursing staff
- Patient encounters per shift: on average 14 per provider, plus new consults that will be distributed across the 3 providers
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Must be Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine (will not accept surgical Critical Care)
- Active ID License and DEA - Preferred
- will accept IMLC with easily transferrable DEA and can work requested dates
- Clean malpractice/history
- Must be able to perform: Intubation, Central Line Insertion, Arterial Line Insertion, Chest Tube Insertion, Burn treatment
