Locum - Physician - Anesthesiologist Sioux City, Ia

Locum or Locum-to-Perm Anesthesiologist Needed

Position Details:

• Start Date: Immediate upon credentialing
• Coverage: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating vacation and call schedule
• Weekend Call: Rotated among providers, ensuring time off

Call Details:

• Call Ratio: 1 in 5
• Responsibilities include first and second calls, potential late stays or home call

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based surgical services department
• Level 2 trauma center

Operational Details:

• Average of 13 surgical cases per day
• Nearly 100% supervision of experienced CRNAs
• EMR: Cerner PowerChart

Patient Care:

• Adult/geriatric demographics, no complex adolescent or child procedures

Procedures and Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive anesthetic care for general surgery, open heart, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and pain management cases
• Management of acute volume and blood pressure issues, anesthesia types, and line insertions
