Local Meal Delivery (Catering)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Caterer to join our team. As a Caterer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food service and ensuring customer satisfaction at various events and functions. Duties:
- Prepare and present food items for catering events, including banquets, weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions
- Set up and decorate serving stations with food, beverages, utensils, and condiments
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and baking desserts
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering equipment, workstations, and storage areas
- Collaborate with the event coordinator or client to create customized menus based on dietary restrictions or preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any concerns or special requests from clients or guests
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes during events as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in catering or banquet settings
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and menu planning
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 8 per week
