Duties:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck, hauling gravel, sand, dirt, and millings
- Safely transport materials and equipment to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for delivery
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience driving doubles (Gravel Train preferred)
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Not prohibited in the DOT Clearinghouse
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
Work Schedule
- Expected schedule of 50-70 hours/week
- Typically Mon -Fri, 5am - 5pm and alternating Saturdays, but flexibility is required
