Position Summary 

Performs a variety of duties relating to loan servicing and compliance with all lending regulations.

Essential Job Functions
  • Performs functions related to vehicle leasing, including address changes, payment disbursements, research, and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Performs functions related to hazard and flood insurance, including tracking, payment disbursements, research and resolving any discrepancies, escrow account initiation and closeout, and communication with third party service agency on all insurance cancellation matters.
  • Performs functions related to property taxes, including tracking, payment disbursements, and research and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Reviews escrow analysis and aids with annual analysis of escrow accounts.
  • Performs functions related to commercial servicing including quality control of booked loans, participation payment postings, and preparing discharges and uniform commercial code ("UCC") continuations and terminations.
  • Communicates with members by phone, email and in person when there are changes to loans or any additional information is required. Completes all system contact events in a timely manner.
  • Performs loan account maintenance, as needed including payment deferrals and line of credits freezes.
  • Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services by assessing member's needs, addressing concerns, and gaining agreement.
  • Performs additional duties, as directed by management. 

Requirements

  • Education and Experience  
    • High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years' of related experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills/Knowledge/Certifications
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to adapt and learn new computer systems and applications.
    • Ability to perform work with accuracy.
    • Ability to problem solve.
    • Ability to work under little supervision.
    • Attention to detail.

All new hires are required to onboard for a minimum of 30 days on-site in Chelsea.
Metro's Hybrid Work Policy requires three in-person days for all employees whose primary office location is 200 Revere Beach Parkway. All employees will be required to report to work at 200 RBP every Tuesday and Wednesday. With approval from their manager, employees may choose the third day that works best for their own individual needs and schedules.
