Loan Officer / Bank Teller

We are seeking a Loan Officer to become a part of our team! You will evaluate and authorize approval of loans.

Responsibilities:

• Guide members through the loan application process
• Advise members on loan requirements, payment methods, etc....
• File loan applications and supporting documents 
• Assist member walk ins with their financial transactions
• Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them
• Answer member phone calls and assist with their banking needs
• Develop and foster relationships with our members and within the postal community
• Demonstrate an excellent customer experience, engaging customers by name, in a friendly professional manner
• Other duties, as assigned

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in finance, banking, or other related fields
• Familiarity with financial and lending practices accepted, but not required
• Ability to build rapport with members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Attention to details required
