Loan Assistant

We are looking for an individual to join our team in the role of Loan Assistant for the Oklahoma City market. Under the supervision of the Commercial Lending Group, this role performs a variety of Loan Assistant functions in connection with commercial loans. The individual should possess excellent customer service skills in person, by phone and email. They should have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word. Previous loan administration/documentation experience preferred. The knowledge of Fiserv or Sageworks products is a plus.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate loan closings with customers, title companies, appraisers, etc.
• Assist with loan advances, payments, account transfers, general customer needs, research and loan payoff statements.
• Assist with construction advances and inspections.
• Manage loan covenant tracking for the bank.
• Receive, validate and complete basic loan maintenance requests.
• Verify that insurance coverage is in place on collateral.
• Perform loan research; able to answer and resolve basic inquiries.
• Consistently meet all regulatory and legal guidelines surrounding all assigned functions.
• Observe all security, privacy and banking regulations.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable banking regulations.
• Other miscellaneous administrative functions.
• Regular and predictable attendance, punctuality and dress code.

• Excellent customer service skills, both oral and written communication.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must adhere closely to bank policies, procedures and regulations.
• Strong work ethic and high integrity.
• Must be dependable, professional, proactive and courteous.
• Must have ability to effectively contribute to a positive team environment.
• Business degree and/or 2-3 years relevant banking experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and use new software and programs.
