Position Description

We help our state and local agencies (along with higher ed institutions) deliver on their promises to Texans and Oklahomans from modernizing systems that protect children to creating apps that care for vulnerable adults, to revamping public university portals to enhance students' experiences, and ultimately to engineering solutions that increase transparency and ensure the effective and efficient use of taxpayer dollars. Join our team and be a part of the bigger picture at Client, we're more than just a tech company a team of technologists who passionately serve Texas and Oklahoma seeking candidates in Texas with a preference for residents in the immediate Austin area. Team members will be on-site in South Austin for a minimum of two days every week. You should minimally plan on working on-site with your team every Monday plus one additional day each week.

Future Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participates in executing the tasks and activities of the broader release testing teams.
- Use sanctioned testing tools to ensure that the application/system is working as specified in requirements and design.
- Creates and maintains test scripts mapped to requirements, and workflow to ensure proper coverage.
- Executes test scripts, and communicates and records results.
- Ensure traceability of requirements to test scripts.
- Collaborates with the performance lead engineer and Development teams to analyze and review requirements.
- Work with test lead, Test manager, product owners, application architect, and Development teams on defect analysis and triage
- Builds strong trusting relationships within the QA team and with other teams
- May be required to demonstrate working product functionality.
- Keep system of record (i.e. Jira, Dev Ops) up to date with accurate and true progress and changes to scope and effort
- Work with performance lead and Test manager to identify estimation of effort and ensure that it is reasonably accurate, factoring in historical information, assumptions and risk factors
- Understand and support the policies, values, principles, structure, and behavior of our clients.
- At least 4-5 years of relevant work experience conducting Performance testing using LoadRunner.
- Web performance app testing using truclient protocol.
- Monitoring, Analysis, and excellent reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of Test Management tools (eg: Azure DevOps, ALM)
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information and arrive at sound analysis and judgment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to drive performance testing track.
- Coordination with multivendor teams' environment for performance defect tracking, analysis, and track to closure.
- Understanding of basic SQL knowledge of writing and executing query to extract test data from database.
- Ability to read and analyze logs using Splunk and Appdynamics.
