Form of workGraf Brothers Flooring, Inc is seeking an experienced and safety-oriented Front-End Loader Operator for their Fort Gay, WV Log Yard location. The Front-End Loader Operator will operate an articulated, rubber-tired machine equipped with front mounted hydraulically powered log forks used to load/unload log trucks and transport logs to desired organized rows.

- Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 4:30PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Properly follow company handbook and OSHA safety procedures
- Be familiar with and incorporate information from Loader Operators manual
- Inspect equipment for safety prior to use
- Perform daily maintenance on loader including but not limited to, fueling, greasing and any other preventative maintenance required of loader, while maintaining documentation of said tasks
- Demonstrate excellent customer service to customers, vendors, and all site visitors at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of loader at all times
- Load/Unload log trucks
- Understand log marks from cab of loader
- Maintain log species/grade/row organization
- Maintain effective communication between Log Buyer, Office personnel, truck drivers & any other related individuals at all times
- Maintain grounds
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of front-end loader experience required
- Knowledge of heavy-equipment operating principles and procedures
- Ability to operate loader under varying weather conditions
- High School diploma (or equivalent) preferred but not required
- Provide valid documentation for I-9
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and be willing to subject to random drug screen during employment
- Ability to work scheduled hours with dependability and consistency
- Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends when needed
- Follow all employee handbook policies and procedures
- Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members as well as customers & vendors
