THE JOB

The Regional Manager of Fan &Artist Services (Southeast) will support the overall coordination and implementation of hospitality and service-based business initiatives, focused on the venue employee, fan and artist. This role will report into the Co-heads of Fan & Artist Services, work in partnership with their Regional Vice President - Operations (RVP), venue management teams in their assigned region(s) and support part-time venue positions focused on the two main areas of the venue, front and back of house,

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Employee Management & Engagement

  • Responsible for oversight of venue Experience Managers (EM) and Backstage Experience Coordinators (BEC) in partnership with venue general managers.
  • Assist with recruitment and hiring of EM’s and BEC’s; organization and implementation of their on-boarding and training.
  • Lead one-on-one and bi-weekly meetings with regional EM’s and BEC’s to review goals, objectives and action plans.
  • Ensure each are following company standards and procedures while coaching and developing them through problem solving.
  • Foster an environment of communication and collaboration

Resource Partner

  • Build relationships across you region with different venue partners (from General Manager to Production Manager) and various department leads (from Merchandise to Ancillary’s)
  • Provide regular progress reports to regional and venue management, including hassles and best practices.
  • Hold bi-weekly calls with your regional lead(s) to establish an ongoing working relationship.
  • Build out processes and resources that support the larger national team.

Creative Collaborator

  • Support EMs and BECs through collaborative brainstorming. Offer creative suggestions and solutions regarding front of house and back of house initiatives
  • Develop and revise processes, procedures, and standards that strengthen operations across the system.
  • Analyze data sources to help create solutions to guest feedback and concerns.
  • Partner with regional peers on best practices, new programs and creative solutions, sharing wins and challenges; cross-collaborating on topic-specific initiatives and partnering to lead monthly national calls.
  • Help in logistics oversight, creative aspects and planning with the Artist Services Team for Artist/Crew experiences and occasional gifting.
  • Travel to all venues within the region to support EM, BEC and venue management. As well as assisting with on-site experience and execution.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; preferably in Hospitality, Facilities or Management.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years in music venue or like industries.
  • A wholistic understanding of hospitality and a people first approach
  • Comfortable working both within a team and on your own
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills including public speaking, meeting facilitation skills and the ability to engage others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated experience finding creative, yet viable solutions.
  • Must be able to travel 30 - 35% of the time.
  • Proficient computer skills required including the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CANVA.
