WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Analyzing site and path survey results.
- Participating in FCC coordination and licensing processing.
- Reading and working from manufacturing drawings and schematics.
- Finalizing designs and bill of materials.
- Developing test and cutover plans.
- Supporting the Field Technician teams during field integration and testing services.
- Developing a logical implementation of work.
- Developing informative block diagrams.
- Proving implementation support.
- Developing proposals and responses to RFPs.
- Maintaining and establishing effective working relationships with other employees, subcontractors, and customers.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
- Bachelor's degree S in Electrical / Computer Engineering or Applicable work experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 3 years of system engineering or related experience, preferred.
- Solid background in engineering principles and RF fundamentals.
- Knowledge of concepts, characteristics, capabilities, and theoretical design of Commercial, P25 two-way, and microwave radio equipment.
- Experience in IP network operations, WAN, and LAN technologies, and protocols, preferably in a communications service provider environment.
- Knowledge of IP Routing and Switching.
- Must be detail-oriented, and able to work without constant supervision.
- Ability to multi-task in a demanding, results-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project, required.
- Must have a strong technical electronics background, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to conduct failure analysis.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
