Position:Live-out Nanny / Household Manager

Schedule:Full-time, Monday Friday, 7:45am 5:00pm (flexibility with hours)

Location:Cos Cob, CT

Salary:$30-35/hour

Overview:

Active family of five is seeking to hire a reliable, hardworking, self-motivated childcare professional / house manager looking for a stable, long-term position. A successful candidate for the job will be a proactive, honest, and loving individual that understands the daily needs of young boys and a family on the move. The ideal candidate must have significant childcare experience with young children (boys is a plus), comfortable with a fluid work environment, an ability to be both caring and stern, attention to detail, and an understanding of the importance of safety and following the rules. The candidate must have a valid U.S. driver's license, a clean driving record, no criminal background, be able to swim and a general comfort around water and water safety. While not a requirement of the job, a candidate that is CPR certified is a bonus.

Boys Ages: 8, 5.5 and 7 months

Duties:

Care for children, keep them active and nurture their development

Engage the children, encourage creativity, learning, and a healthy lifestyle

Pick up from school and drive to activities, appointments, playdates etc. as needed. Car will be provided.

Prepare / cook dinner for the boys (menu options will be provided); keep kitchen and pantry clean, tidy and organized

Manage childrens laundry

Organize and manage the house, keeping everything in order, including family areas, childrens rooms, play areas and belongings/accessories/sports equipment, manage school backpacks

Assist with homework as needed

Grocery lists / shopping: Keep a grocery list, anticipate needs before items run out, order and stock kitchen and pantry

Keep family car clean, tidy and free of debris

Run miscellaneous errands upon request

Interact with contractors and vendors who come to the home (when applicable)

Ability to adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances

Requirements

5+ years experience as a Nanny caring for multiple children

Excellent, stable work history and references

Drivers license and clean driving record

Unquestioned integrity and honesty

Non-smoker

Fully vaccinated
