Live In Caregivers With Hospice Experience Needed For Anchorage (Immediate Openings)

Must be able to work a 3 day or 4 day shift as a Live in Caregiver.

Home Care Assistance is seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregivers to join our team for the Anchorage area. The ideal candidate must have a clean background, a valid driver's license, and insurance. Must have Caregiving experience and have open availability to work.

This position requires a Caregiver who is comfortable with constant redirection, dementia behaviors, and being out in the community running errands and shopping with the client.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work a 3 day or 4 day shift as a Live in Caregiver.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, meal preparation and cooking and cleaning. and manage the home.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings, including grocery shopping and doctor's visits.
• Be comfortable and able to adjust to the client's changing needs and tend to personal care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare professional.

Requirements:

• Clean background
• CPR/ First Aid Certification – BLS Preferred
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• Female preferred.
• Ability to work 3 to 4 days at a time as a Live in Caregiver
• Comfortable with constant redirection and being out in the community running errands and shopping
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent
