Job Description
This person will have heavy and extensive experience in Personal Injury Litigation, be able to handle a case load of 50 plus cases that are in progress, and have excellent scheduling and calendaring skills. You will not be writing briefs and doing a lot of research. Your work consists mostly of case management and discovery: preparing Complaints, 16.1 Disclosures, respond and propound discovery, preparing exhibit binders and preparation for trial. Trial experience is required for this position. You will also be ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records and preparing deposition summaries.
Candidates should also possess the following skills:
Knowledge of the Local Rules of Civil Procedure and FRCP
E-filing experience both State and Federal
Trial experience is a requirement
Understand and have knowledge of calendaring and SOLs
Able to work as a team or independently
Computer savvy with MS Word and preferably case management savvy (we use Litify)
Strong in the discovery process
Possess excellent case management skills
Great time management
Friendly and compassionate demeanor
