Form of work*Description:*Enterprise Infrastructure is a part of the Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) department. As a Systems Administrator, you will be a member of the IT team responsible for all Intel-based infrastructure administration and support for both Data Center and Branch infrastructure. We provide the administration of (both physical and virtual platforms), operating systems, storage systems, and configuration, installation, deployment, and monitoring of infrastructure systems.You will primarily work with other administrators and analysts in the enterprise engineering department but will work with and support employees’ company-wide to ensure that Enterprise Infrastructure is providing the systems, support, and administration required to meet the diverse needs of the entire organization.*Skills:*Linux, System administrator, Vmware, Ansible, Red hat, Cloud, Linux administration*Top Skills Details:*Linux,System administrator,Vmware,Ansible,Red hat,Cloud,Linux administration*Additional Skills & Qualifications:*•5-10 years of Linux Platform experience.
•Working knowledge of Linux (RedHat)•Working knowledge of CEPH•Working knowledge of Ansible•Working knowledge of Satellite•Experience in system and software security and entitlements (SSO, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD). •Understanding of server systems, application processes, and networking technology. •Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. •Ability to multi-task and support multiple priorities. •Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Ability to work flexible hours; some off-hours support is required•Communicate with business professionals at multiple levels across the organization.•Proactively monitor hardware platforms for potential performance and capacity concerns. •Apply preventative maintenance and upgrades on servers. •Communicate with key leadership and recommend changes or improvements.
