Linux Low Latency Trading Systems Engineer (New York City or Chicago) 3 full-time openings

• Only full-time jobs with H1B sponsorship and paid relocation; please no contractors or Consultants. No remote workers at all.

• Must have experience working on Low Latency Trading Systems INFRASTRUCTURE at a hedge fund, market data company, proprietary trading company, etc

• You will build and maintain trading infrastructure that is optimized for very low-latency, operating systems, automation software, and development tools that allow 24/7 trading world-wide.

• Must have coding/automation experience.Advanced LINUX Shell, Bash shell scripting, and Python programming for automation and integration purposes.

• Must have expertise with real-time production trading environment and resolve problems that require high availability, high throughput, and low-latency solutions.

• Expertise in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux systems, from hardware and kernel to applications

• Experience with configuration management tools, particularly SaltStack but Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or CFEngine are also a plus

This position is at a New York City or Chicago location. It offers competitive compensation.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $175,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
