Trading Systems Engineer - Full Time W2
Salary Range:-
$180,000 - $250,000 (Base)

Overview:- 

We are looking for a Senior Trading Systems engineer who is motivated to bring their skills and experience working in settlements, payments or related fin-tech areas to our technology stack. This person will be in a position to process if successful into a principal role with oversight of the Trading Systems engineering team. 

Responsibilities:-

• Working with technical leadership and other developers on our trade APIs, matching engine, FIX interfaces, post-trade settlement, risk engine and real-time data services functionality within our Typescript/NodeJS-based back end architecture. 

Qualifications:-

• Extensive experience building, leading and maintaining multi-layer, services-oriented applications for equities or crypto trading.

• Specific experience of building order routing, order management or matching engine technologies.

• Experience mentoring, leading, and operating at senior level within a backend engineering function.

• Extensive professional experience with at least one of these languages:- Typescript, Rust, Go, or Python. (Please note this is a Node/Typescript project)

• Experience designing, maintaining and expanding APIs via REST, WebSocket, GraphQL, and other technologies.

• Experience building tool chain applications, agents, services, server and client applications in NodeJS or similar.

• Thorough working knowledge (and preferably DBA experience) working with a variety of database, SQL and other storage technologies in NodeJS (at least including PostgreSQL and Redis)

• Thorough working knowledge of non-trivial message queue patterns e.g. via Redis streams, RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Experience working with and contributing to Docker containers/images

• Excellent problem solving skills.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
