Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, positive energy line cook to join our opening team, and to contribute to our outstanding cafe experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and executing high-quality dishes including curated sandwiches, salads, and pastries with precision and efficiency. Your culinary expertise will contribute to the overall dining experience for our guests providing excellent dishes and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensure products are consistent with quality standards
• Participate in sandwich and salad preparation as well as other kitchen food preparation as required
• Ensure food safety procedures are executed according to policy and health/sanitation regulations; execute daily opening and closing procedures
• Ensure workstation is maintained, cleaned and restocked as needed; Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of kitchen
• Monitor inventory levels through ordering to ensure product availability
• Executes all start up and close out procedures for kitchen and prep stations

Qualifications:

• Previous sous experience 3 years (Preferred)
• ServSafe Certified (Preferred)
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Ability to run a fast-paced line Restock items as needed throughout the shift
