Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Manager/Cook to contribute to the success of our concessions at the American Sports Center. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the kitchen operations, ensuring top-notch food quality, and providing excellent service in a high-energy sports environment.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Inspire and lead a team of cooks and concession staff to maintain high standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including inventory control, ordering, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area.
Food Preparation: Take charge of food preparation, cooking, and presentation, adhering to our commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to enhance their experience, handle inquiries, and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
Training and Development: Train new hires, provide ongoing coaching, and support the professional growth of team members.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the food service industry, preferably in a sports or entertainment venue.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Culinary Skills: Strong cooking skills with a focus on speed, efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
