Cantina & Tacos inside Riverwind Casino is a new dynamic fast casual restaurant dedicated to providing exceptional food, beverages, and service to our valued customers.  We take pride in serving high-quality beverages and cocktails alongside our delicious menu offerings. As a Line Cook you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing ingredients and ensuring the smooth flow of food preparation. Your meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately measure, cut, chop, and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including refrigeration and storage areas. Ensure proper labeling and rotation of food items.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies. Notify supervisors when items need to be restocked.
• Ensure that all food items prepared meet quality and safety standards. Report any issues or discrepancies to kitchen management.
• Work closely with the culinary team to support the timely preparation of dishes during peak service times.
• Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, chefs, and other team members to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a line cook or kitchen assistant is preferred but not required. Willingness to train on the job.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
