From our humble beginnings as a mobile coffee truck on the streets of San Diego in 2013, Perky Beans Coffee has grown up and laid down roots in Leander, Texas. We are family-owned and operated, and since 2021, we've offered two concepts under one roof. Perky Beans Coffee is our complete coffeehouse with a drive-thru, offering a variety of delicious beverages as well as quick bites. Located right next door is PB Cafe, where our customers can sit down and order all the breakfast classics as well as items from our tasty lunch menu.

YOUR LIFE AS A LINE COOK - CAFE CHEF

This cooking position can be full- or part-time and typically works between the hours of 6:30 AM - 10:00 PM. We are open 7 days a week.

As a Line Cook - Cafe Chef, you are vital to the operations of our restaurant. You fulfill all our orders according to the recipes and instructions. Alongside the rest of the kitchen staff, you use various cooking methods to prepare each menu item accurately. Through your training, you're able to work at any station in our kitchen. You ensure that food comes simultaneously and in a timely fashion.

Always attentive to detail, you perform portion control and minimize waste. You ensure that each ingredient and product we use is fresh and of high quality. Additionally, as you work you maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. You love making delicious food each day and take pride in always meeting our quality and cleanliness standards!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years of kitchen or restaurant experience
• Ability to perform the physical requirements such as standing for long periods of time and lifting 35+ lbs.
