- Explain the X-ray procedure to patients and ensure their comfort and cooperation.
- Position patients correctly and use appropriate shielding to protect unaffected areas.
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture images of the specified body part.
- Ensure proper functioning of the X-ray equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Develop and process X-ray films or work with digital imaging systems to produce diagnostic images.
- Ensure the quality and clarity of the images for accurate interpretation.
- Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, themselves, and others.
- Comfortable working with extreme high patient volume.
