Job Description:

The Estimating Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the estimating personnel in the LFP Lighting Division. This position reports to the Vice President/GM of the Division.

The Estimating Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the estimating personnel in the LFP Lighting Division. This position reports to the Vice President/GM of the Division.
Section II. Duties & Areas of Responsibility:
The primary duties of the Estimating Coordinator consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide administrative support to the estimating staff
- Handle all incoming correspondence between estimators, sales and prospective customers
- Organize and Upload the bid documents per department requirements.
- Send take-off requests to India, and coordinate responses with the estimators
- Update the quote system w/data per bid and direction from sales and estimators
- Identify and follow up on delays on requests that might delay bid requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and services (internal/external)
- Other duties, as assigned to include all other office administrative functions as directed by management

- 2+ years admin./office experience required
- Outstanding customer service/support skills
- Solid problem resolution abilities
- Professional demeanor
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel heavy)
- Excellent interpersonal, and cooperative skills
- Solid written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong time management, planning and organizational skills
- ERP experience helpful (P21)
- Ability to work well both independently, and in team settings
- Willingness to assist wherever needed
- High School diploma or GED
Section IV: Physical Requirements:
- Visual acuity required to read computer screens, written documents, inspect materials, products, etc.
- Ability to speak and hear on the phone
- Must be able to work sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and in squatting position
- Manual dexterity required for computer work, to handle materials, supplies, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
