Job Summary

1 - First Shift
Are you the type of person who enjoys leading a project to find a new solution and improve business results? In this role you will collaborate across the business to pursue supply chain strategies that improve availability, lead time and costs specifically for the lifecycle product group. We're looking for someone who works well on a team and can collaborate across multiple functions to further advance the lifecycle business.
What You'll Do
1. Define commercial terms and conditions specific to lifecycle in conjunction with the global supply chain team for new and existing lifecycle suppliers.
2. Identify potential alternative aftermarket parts suppliers to achieve improved availability and/or cost.
3. Engage with sales and engineering teams on competitive pricing opportunities.
4. Leverage price management software to identify the highest part priorities to maximize the opportunity.
5. Work with regions to propose and implement regional supply chain changes to support Vermeer's global parts network.
6. Work with vendors to implement branding enhancements.
7. Engage in the new product design process to support lifecycle needs during new product engineering.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering with a minimum of five years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Previous experience with warehouse and/or inventory management.
- Ability to negotiate contractual agreements effectively and professionally.
Travel
- Occasional travel is expected of this position.
Work Location
ONSITE: A team member's day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
