Our client is looking for an energetic job-seeker for a Customer Care Representative position local to Philadelphia, PA!As the Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for supporting customers and clients. This temporary-to-hire role offers $19/HR!
HYBRID SCHEDULE: Remote - Must be able to commute to Philadelphia, PA 1 day a week.
Responsibilities of the Customer Care Representative include:
- Handling customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
- Providing information on in-force products to Agents, Policyholders and Employees.
- Communicating contract language in terms callers will understand.
- Resolving a wide variety of problems with customers.
- Providing clear and concise information on problems.
- Maintaining a log of incoming calls from customers and field personnel.
- Following through to ensure that problems and requests are handled satisfactorily.
- Following up on telephone inquiries.
- Communicating with Policyholders and Agents on policy changes.
- Completing specific projects relating to policies.
- Assisting other departments in handling customer service problems.
- Understanding the process for address and correspondent changes
Requirements of the Customer Care Representative Include:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in high volume service environment.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent. Relevant Associates Degree highly preferred.
- Must have knowledge of Group Administration, Individual Administration and be familiar with basic claim processing.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Excellent telephone etiquette, excellent communication skills and handle customer complaints and problems in a timely and courteous manner.
