At Embark, our Life Coaches are there with our students to help guide them during those difficult moments. The care and focus that is provided helps the girls and their families move toward a healthy and healing home environment by assisting with communication methods, social skills, experiential and academic progress.
Schedule:
Day Shift (6am - 4pm)
Mid Shift (1pm - 11pm) (10am-8pm)
- 4 day work week / 10 hour shifts / OT available
- Rotating weekends ***

- Foster positive and healthy relationships with each program participant
- Ensure the health, safety and welfare of participants in the program at all times
- Facilitate small group meetings designed to promote open dialogue and build social skills
- Help program participants set and achieve personal goals by providing supportive mentoring and guidance
- Maintain regular communication with program participants’ families
- Daily documentation
- Follow appropriate medication protocols
- Participate in ongoing development and supervision of milieu meetings, activities, groups, clubs, events and outings
- Communicate with other treatment staff as needed
- Drive participants to activities and appointments
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work or related field preferred, but not required.
- 21+ years of age or older
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass criminal investigation background check
- Current driver's license
- Ability to effectively communicate and build healthy relationships.
- Ability to set and teach positive values
- Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid.
- Ability to safely hold or restrain an upset or combative student
- Skill in de-escalating agitated students.
- Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
- Ability to plan, implement, and adjust to plans accordingly
