Responsibilities:
How will you affect the business?

  • Assist in managing the individual insurance licensing process and ensures compliance with state insurance regulations.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date licensing records for our insurance agents, in partnership with our licensing venders

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting M&A activity within both implementation and integration of licensing
  • Leading continual development and improvement to centralization of licensing information
  • Managing decisions and recommending course of action based upon administrative actions against insurance licensees; and Monitoring and tracking licensing renewals to ensure timely submission and compliance
  • Assists insurance agents with any licensing-related inquiries or issues
  • Provides training and guidance to insurance agents on licensing requirements and processes
  • Conducts regular audits to ensure licensing records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Coordinates with insurance agents to gather necessary documentation and information for licensing applications
  • Provides licensing knowledge and assistance to production teams, client service professionals and the surplus lines tax department
  • Acts as key resource for licensing protocols
  • Manages decisions and recommendations on course of action
  • Works within both individual and entity level licensure
Qualifications:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3+ years of experience in insurance licensing or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of state insurance regulations and licensing requirements
  • Proficient in using licensing software and databases
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred
  • Familiarity with insurance agency management systems is preferred
