- Assist in managing the individual insurance licensing process and ensures compliance with state insurance regulations.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date licensing records for our insurance agents, in partnership with our licensing venders
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting M&A activity within both implementation and integration of licensing
- Leading continual development and improvement to centralization of licensing information
- Managing decisions and recommending course of action based upon administrative actions against insurance licensees; and Monitoring and tracking licensing renewals to ensure timely submission and compliance
- Assists insurance agents with any licensing-related inquiries or issues
- Provides training and guidance to insurance agents on licensing requirements and processes
- Conducts regular audits to ensure licensing records are accurate and up-to-date
- Coordinates with insurance agents to gather necessary documentation and information for licensing applications
- Provides licensing knowledge and assistance to production teams, client service professionals and the surplus lines tax department
- Acts as key resource for licensing protocols
- Manages decisions and recommendations on course of action
- Works within both individual and entity level licensure
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3+ years of experience in insurance licensing or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of state insurance regulations and licensing requirements
- Proficient in using licensing software and databases
- Strong communication skills
Preferred
- Familiarity with insurance agency management systems is preferred
