LICENSING ASSOCIATE

Job Overview 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensing Associate to join our team. The Licensing Associate will be responsible for managing and expanding our licensing portfolio, ensuring that our products meet brand standards, and cultivating strong relationships with our licensing partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and a keen understanding of the fashion and apparel industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement comprehensive licensing strategies to enhance brand visibility and  revenue growth. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential licensing partners. Negotiate  licensing agreements and ensure compliance with contract terms. 
• Ensure all licensed products meet Majesty Brands’ quality standards and brand guidelines.  Collaborate with design and production teams to maintain brand integrity. 
• Conduct market research to identify new licensing opportunities and trends. Analyze competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions. 
• Oversee licensing budgets, royalties, and financial performance. Monitor and report on the  financial impact of licensing activities. 
• Manage the end-to-end process of licensing projects, from concept to launch. Coordinate with  internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery. 
• Work closely with legal teams to draft and review licensing agreements. Ensure all licensing  activities comply with relevant laws and regulations. 

Experience and Skills:  

• Associates degree, or a related field that demonstrates your dedication to the industry. 
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in licensing, brand management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of licensing agreements and contract management. 
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative  thinker with a passion for fashion and brand development. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Salary Disclosure: 

Majesty Brands is committed to offering a compensation package that reflects the qualifications and  experience of the individual. The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with  experience. While the posted salary range is $55,000 – $70,000, we recognize the value of exceptional talent and are open to negotiation for the right candidate.
