Licensed Vocational Nurse (Lvn) - Home Health Care (Shift Care)

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide Shift Care for a cheerful and communicative patient in their home. The patient is on a ventilator and requires tube feeding. Day time and weekend night shifts available. This position is ideal for someone who values a warm and relaxed family-centric work environment and seeks to make a meaningful impact in individual care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and care for a patient on a ventilator.
• Administer tube feedings, medications, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and respond to any changes in the patient's condition.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other healthcare professionals and family to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide compassionate and empathetic support to the patient and family.

Qualifications:

• Current LVN license in California.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with ventilator management a plus, but training will be provided.
• Tube feeding training will be provided.
