A highly regarded healthcare organization is urgently seeking a LVN in the West LA area. the Neurology Department relevant experience is highly preferred!
You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.
*PROOF OF COVID-19 VACCINATION & BOOSTER ARE REQUIRED*
Role: LVN
Pay: Flexible, contingent on years of experience!
Dept: the Neurology Dept.
Shift: M-F 8:30 - 5pm; Must be flexible to work weekends, when needed.
Temporary Contract: 3 months with likely extension
Responsibilities:
- This will be to support the Neurology Dept.
- Direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and education
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor vital signs, document changes in condition, and report any abnormalities to the RN or MD
- Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Phone work (messages)
Qualifications:
- 2+ years LVN experience
- Excellent attendance is a MUST
- Friendly/welcoming!
- Detail oriented
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills
- Computer literacy/EMR knowledge
- Highly Preferred: EPIC experience
