Licensed Vocational Nurse/ Drug And Alcohol Detox

Substance Use Disorder Facility is seeking hard working, driven and dedicated LVN and MA staff members. We are a coed detox program. The current position is responsible for the daily supervision of the treatment program's community and attend to the clients' essential needs while on detoxification.

• Document hourly vital signs and rounds reports on all clients in their first 24 hours of detox
• Administer detoxification protocols (COWS, CIWAS, Vitals Assessments) on detoxifying clients per doctor's orders
• Document shift reports
• Supervise self administration of medication
• Coordinate with attending physician and pharmacy
• Crisis intervention
• General cleaning and maintaining the therapeutic milieu
• Some driving may be requests
• Ensure clients are adhering to facility rules
• Complete new admission intake procedures (UA, belongings search, intake assessment, etc.)
• Complete controlled medication counts at each shift change
• Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis
• Adhere to CARF and DHCS standards of care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
