SalaryResponsibilities:
- Assesses patients by physical examination, including patient diagnostic testing to determine health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Conduct laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
- Utilize electronic health record systems to maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques
- Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases
Skills:
- Ability to triage patients effectively based on their symptoms and medical history
- Experience with tube feeding techniques and ensuring proper nutrition for patients
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and ability to collect specimens for analysis
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems for accurate documentation
- Competence in medication administration, including dosage calculations and proper administration routes
- Understanding of acute care procedures and ability to respond to emergencies promptly
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices to maintain a safe healthcare environment
