Licensed Vocational Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. As an LVN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various settings such as assisted living facilities, medical offices, and home care. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Perform catheterization and wound care as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in California
- Proven experience in patient care, preferably in assisted living or home care settings
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Experience working with children and providing infant care is a plus
- Proficient in specimen collection processing
- Ability to catheterize patients when necessary
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Be capable to complete home visits
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
