We are a general practice with 3 doctors. LVT duties include but are not limited to; Overseeing Veterinary Assistants, handling appointments, assisting in surgical procedures, and patient care. Must be able to work all shifts including occasional Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays. Looking for someone who is currently licensed or VTNE eligible. We would love to meet you and see if you are a fit for our team!
In this position, we would like to develop your leadership skills, and you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
As a member of the VCA team, your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent-by delivering an outstanding client experience-so they will partner with us for the lifelong care of their companion animals.
You've worked hard for your credentialing, and we want you to use the knowledge that you've invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
Physical examinations and patient assessment
Anesthesia monitoring
Surgical preparation and assisting
Dentistry
Radiology
Laboratory work
Venipuncture
Catheter placement
Pharmacy
Patient recovery
Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
Client communication
