VCA Westbury Animal Hospital is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician! This is a great opportunity to work alongside a great team and see your own Technician Appointments.
About Us
We are an AAHA-accredited and AAFP Cat Friendly 3-doctor practice in Summerville, SC, not far from Charleston. We see canine and feline patients, offering Primary Care, Surgery, Dentistry, Boarding and more.
Our hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30am - 8pm, Friday 8:30am - 6pm, Saturday 8:30am - 2pm, closed Sunday.

About the Role
As LVT, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:
- Compassionate patient care
- Client education and care
- Provide scheduled technician appointments
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Radiology and diagnostics
- Lab sample collection and processing
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Dentistry
- Medication preparation and administration
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Medical recordkeeping
Qualifications
- South Carolina Veterinary Technician license (LVT) or eligible upon hire
- Proficient in veterinary technical skills including duties listed above
