Job Description
We are looking for a Licensed Title Agent to work for our company. You would be responsible for all aspects of closing. Mostly residential, but some commercial transactions. You need to be able to handle a file from receiving the contract to issuing the title policy and all items in between. This will include, but not be limited to:
*introduction letters
*obtaining escrow deposit for file
*preparation of settlement statements
*confirming transaction proration figures
*following written escrow instructions provided by all parties to the transaction
*disbursement of funds and documents in accordance with established policies and procedures
*recording documents
*issuing the title policy(s)
*post closing and follow up of recorded documents and any escrowed funds held
You will need to provide a high level of communication and customer service throughout the transaction. You must have a minimum of 3 years of processing and closing experience. You will need a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. You will need to be detail oriented and be able to manage multiple actions at once. You will need to be flexible and able to re-prioritize your schedule as needed for clients and management. You must have a valid driver's license.
