In this role, our therapists oversee and facilitate all direct social services for patients and their families. They lead our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) and carry out tasks assigned by their manager. We're seeking someone who can contribute to enhancing our care practices and fostering continuous improvement.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow therapeutic treatment protocols and guidelines
- Work collaboratively on a team
- Reach out and build relationships with the medical community in the Tampa Bay area
- Deliver therapeutic treatment services to individuals, groups, families, and/or their loved ones.
- Offer individual treatment sessions to patients as determined by their needs and the program's guidelines.
- Provide crisis intervention services as required and conduct daily safety assessments.
- Interact with patients, their families, loved ones, and referral sources in a manner that is respectful and dignified.
- Create treatment goals that are clear, concise, and collaborative in the patient's treatment plan, and can be realistically achieved.
- Generate therapeutic documentation for group treatments, which should include details about the group, as well as the patient's participation and involvement.
- Record discharge information by outlining the patient's presenting issue, progress, current status, and recommendations for treatment.
- Participate in on-call phone coverage on a rotational basis.
- Carry out additional tasks as instructed.
Education:
- Master's (Required)
Experience:
- Group therapy: 2 years (Preferred)
- Mental health counseling: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- LMFT (Preferred)
- LMHC (Preferred)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Preferred)
