WHO ARE WE?

Founded in July 1972 by social visionary Herb Sturz, Wildcat Service Corporation is a pioneer in transitional work programs for individuals with criminal convictions. Every year, we empower thousands to overcome economic and wellness obstacles through employment opportunities, education, and social support. In 2011, Wildcat joined The Fedcap Group, a collective of companies dedicated to transforming lives by unlocking the "Power of the Possible."

The Women's Project (TWP), a community-based program under Wildcat, focuses on securing the release of women and gender-nonconforming individuals in NYC's jails. TWP also works to prevent the incarceration of women in New York State prisons. Serving 55 women annually, TWP offers an alternative to detention and incarceration services in New York City.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
• SIFI certification (or eagerness to obtain it shortly after joining)
• LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) (or awaiting licensure)
• A knack for using computers, mobile devices, and electronic equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ZOOM technology
• Openness to becoming an expert in electronic case management systems

SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. While our base of operations is in New York, NY, some occasional travel within the five boroughs will be necessary.
