We are seeking a dedicated licensed Medication Aide to join our team. As a licensed Medication Aide, you will be responsible for administering medications to residents and ensuring their well-being. ```Duties:```
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Document medication administration and any observed changes in residents' conditions
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the overall well-being of residents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic systems such as Qmar or Point Click Care
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information
```Qualifications:```
- Must be a licensed Medication Aide or have completed a state-approved medication administration training program
- Previous experience in caregiving, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care, or dementia care, is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Qmar or Point Click Care is a plus
- Knowledge of physical examination procedures and medical terminology is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals
