Creature Comforts Animal Hospital is looking for a Kennel Technician to add to our dedicated team. Our Kennel Technicians play a vital role in our client experience and patient care. This position will be a great way for you to begin your career in veterinary medicine. The training and experience we provide will help you transition to a technician or client service role as your career progresses. If you are ready and willing to learn, we are ready and willing to teach you.
The right candidate will have a highly positive attitude and great communication skills. You should enjoy fast-paced environments, have a knack for recognizing what needs to be done, and possess the ability to accomplish it.
We are looking for candidates with a desire for personal growth and development. Experience working with animals is preferred but not required. Candidates must be dependable and hardworking.
Our Kennel Technicians should be ready to:
- Prepare animal diets and feed boarding animals
- Ensure all animals are supplied with water at all times
- Clean kennels, boarding areas, and hospital on a daily basis
- Walks, relives, bathes, and initiates playtimes with dogs
- Documents completed job duties on boarder charts and records
- Provides tours of boarding facility to our clients
This position is an entry-level position and the starting pay is $12 per hour. This is a part-time position. We are flexible on schedule however; we are currently looking for someone that is available on Monday during daytime hours. If you are unavailable to work Mondays you will not be considered for the position.
