Explain your role to the claimant: Maintain no doctor/patient relationship.8. Treat each claimant with compassion and respect.9. Follow IMA policy of no claimant referrals, no claimant treatment and no claimant prescribing.10.
Maintain professional dress and demeanor at all times.11. Report on any extreme situations: suicidal/homicidal ideations, abuse.12. Review available documentation; take a claimant history.13.
Spend the appropriate amount of time with the claimant.14. Supply the psychiatric and/or cognitive information in order to make a determination.15. Dictate a narrative report the same day.16.
Review and sign reports within 48 hours.17. Maintain all testing material in good condition.18. Perform other related duties as assigned and work hours necessary for completion.
