Licensed Professional Counselor LPC

Neuroskills integrated Learning is operated in Arlington, Texas as a behavioral health clinic seeking a full­time Licensed Professional Counselor to perform therapy services and biopsychosocial assessment, diagnosis and consultation within a thriving group practice. Experience and interest in autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders is highly preferred. Our clients include children, adolescents and adults with developmental, behavior and other mental health conditions.

Required Qualifications

Two plus (2+) years of professional clinical experience. Licensure in Texas as a LPC

Essential Role and Responsibilities:

·       Assist in completing intake assessment, write comprehensive biopsychosocial reports and formulate diagnosis as needed

·       Provide clinical services including counseling/psychotherapy

·       Have a strong acumen

·       Ability to work with psychologist, psychometrist and interns as needed

·       Complete progress report in a timely manner

·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

·       Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

·       Individual, family, group therapy with varied modalities, integrative approach, somatic psychotherapy a plus (EFT, energy psychology)

·       Cultural competency and integration of diversity in case conceptualization.

·       Commitment to empowering clients to integrated skills

·       Maintain a professional work environment in accordance to clinic standards

·       Intervene decisively to ensure client safety

·       Ability to provide both in-office and telehealth counseling, assessment services

Schedule:

•              8-hour shift

•             Day shift

•             Monday to Friday, Saturdays as needed

Education:

•             Doctorate (Preferred)

•             Master’s Degree (Preferred)

             Bilingual (Preferred)

License/Certification:

•             Texas Counseling, LPC License (Preferred)
