Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Position Overview:

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Love Roots Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in delivering client-centered and evidence-based counseling services. Responsibilities:

• Individual and Couples Counseling: Conduct therapeutic sessions to assist clients in addressing and managing a range of mental health concerns, fostering a supportive and healing environment.
• Assessment and Diagnosis: Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses using clinical expertise and adherence to ethical standards, guiding the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans that align with their unique needs and aspirations.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide timely and effective crisis intervention services, demonstrating sensitivity and empathy in moments of acute emotional distress.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards. Stay informed about and adhere to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors' Code of Ethics.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, interdisciplinary teams, and community resources to enhance the overall well-being of clients and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in the field of counseling.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field.
• Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination for Licensure and Certification (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Commitment to ethical practice and authenticity in therapeutic relationships.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $60.00 - $78.00 per hour
