Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
Completed acceptable Pharmacology and IV therapy course. - Certification and Licensure
- Current Pennsylvania Practical Nurse License.
- Proof of State Board of Nursing approve curriculum/course in Intravenous insertion and IV medication.
- Current BCLS.
Skills- Verbal ability to understand patient's charts, doctor's orders, nursing care plan and medication and to communicate with patient and staff.
- Ability to organize and manage time.
- Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, staff and others.
- Total body motor coordination and manual dexterity (to move and use hands easily and skillfully while caring for patients) are required to facilitate the performance of assigned responsibilities.
Experience - One (1) year experience as a LPN in a skilled Nursing Unit
