Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn)

Title:Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

Location: Hagerstown, MD

Contract: 13 weeks

Pay: Negotiable

Duties:

- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs

- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team

- Administer injections and perform other medical procedures as required

- Monitor and document patient progress, including changes in condition and response to treatment

- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications:

- Valid State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical office or hospital

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Proficient in performing vital signs measurements and other basic nursing skills

- Ability to administer medications, including injections, accurately and safely

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• LPN: 1 year (Required)

• LPN License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
