Licensed Practical Nurses Qualifications:
· Active New Jersey Licensed Practical Nursing License
· Long Term Care Experience (preferred)
Licensed Practical Nurses Duties
- Admitting new residents
- Helping physicians during rounds of residents’ rooms
- Assigning and delegating duties to non-licensed nursing staff
- Monitoring resident care and supervising other nursing staff
- Performing ongoing assessments of residents’ physical and mental health
- Explaining procedures and treatment protocols to residentsResponsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist with patient assessments and evaluations
- Provide wound care and dressing changes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of {location}
- Previous experience in dermal fillers, Botox, and basic IV administration is preferred
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and standards
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
- Experience in infant care, behavioral health, family planning, or occupational health is a plus
