RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform and complete assessments in various settings.
- Collaborate with providers and health care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Promote a therapeutic environment to ensure inmates are treated in a professional, ethical, and tactful manner.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current, unrestricted LPN license to practice in the same state as the facility.
- At least 1 year of RN experience in correctional healthcare preferred.
- A current CPR/BLS card with demonstrated cognitive skills is required.
- Must meet security clearance requirements.
Required Skills:
- Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Assertive, empathetic, and able to provide care objectively.
- Microsoft proficient.
- Experience in working with Electronic Health Records.
