Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn)

Job Title- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Shift- 7 am- 7:30 pm
Guarantee- 36hr
Contract - 13 weeks (Possible Extension)
Pay rate on 1099 - $42/hr. $45/hr. (As per experience)
Location - Westover, MD

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with pain management and provide comfort measures to patients
- Conduct health assessments and document patient information accurately
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and medications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (Cerner)
- Assist with IV insertion and medication administration
- Provide health coaching to patients to promote wellness and disease prevention

Qualifications:

Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
