A School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position has opened in our school district. We are currently sourcing for candidates who are interested in the following setting for the 2023-2024 school year. You will play a pivotal role in promoting the health and wellness of our students and staff while ensuring a positive and healthy school environment.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring LPN to join our team, specifically focusing on providing healthcare support during school bus transport. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of students during morning and afternoon bus rides.
Job Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- Must have valid Michigan LPN license.
- Must be CPR and BLS certified.
- Previous experience in pediatrics or schools preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic medical care for students during school bus transport.
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of students during morning and afternoon bus rides.
- Collaborate with bus drivers, teachers, and school staff to address any health-related concerns.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote wellness initiatives within the school munity.
