Licensed Practical Nurse For Clark County (In) Sheriff Department

Clark County, Indiana, Government on behalf of the Clark County Sheriff Department, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of LPN. A detailed job description is attached.

In summary, the Corrections LPN, serves as a Clark County Sheriff's Office civilian employee whose primary responsibility is to, under the supervision of the jail physician, perform a variety of professional nursing services for inmates within the facility related to planning, organizing, monitoring and implementing nursing and medical services.

The successful candidate for this position must be a current Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the Indiana State Board of Nursing and meet the other listed job requirements.

The usual schedule includes one weekend of work per month; all major holidays off as well as all but one weekend per month. On-call availability is required.
